We have printed hundreds of thousands of sheets of foam core, and we've learned a thing or two. With our roots in printing, signage and displays of all types, we've come to realize how versatile foam core really is. We also understand the challenges of shipping foam core, and we've developed methods to overcome what used to be a major roadblock to ordering big foam board prints online. As a result, we launched Foam Board Print Shop to make foam core easy to order, fast to receive, and affordable to purchase.
Our Printing History
The Blueprinting Boom
As commercial building took off in the post-war "Golden Age", so did the need for construction plans. That's where KeithFabry, the parent company of Foam Board Print Shop, began. Started by Bill Fabry and James Keith, KeithFabry printed for architects, engineers and construction companies in Virginia for years, adding other commercial printing capabilities over the years.
Looking Toward the Future with Large Format Printing
New management brought big new ideas for the future of KeithFabry. The company invested in large format printing technology including one of Richmond's first flatbed printers, allowing direct-to-substrate printing on various materials including foam boards. This new technology allowed KeithFabry to offer a vast new line of printed products like signs, banners, custom displays and more.
Offering Foam Core Printing Online
Around 2014, KeithFabry launched Poster Ninja and Overnight Banner Stand. While neither site's main focus was selling foam core prints, the customer base for each was requesting it – so of course we obliged. We refined our printing, packaging and shipping techniques to be able to offer affordable foam core prints with fast turnaround.
Launching Foam Board Print Shop
With our refined skills in foam core board packaging and shipping, we proudly launched Foam Board Print Shop in 2026 with the aim of offering the most extensive foam core catalog to the market. You'll find foam board signs and displays of all styles here. Plus, if you have a vision for your own custom printed foam board creation, we can help you bring it to life.
